Edward Moore, M.A.
Ed Moore holds his Masters in Professional Counseling
undergraduate degree from Auburn University.  Prior to
embarking in a career in counseling, Ed worked in the
technical and business fields for over 15 years bringing
richness to his counseling experience.  Ed is member of
the American Counseling Association.

Ed views counseling holistically from total life experience.
Anxiety, depression, relational problems, addictions don’t
exist just in a vacuum, but in context of work, school,
relationships and other life contexts.  One focus of Ed’s
counseling is for those who feel that life is just not
working despite their best efforts.  He also focuses on
those who struggle with process addictions such as work,
exercise, surfing the Internet, and even church
attendance to name a few (yes, even religious activities
and experiences can subtly turn into process addictions if
activities and experience become the focus and not
Jesus).

Ed is married and has two wonderful grown step-
daughters.  He has lived in Knoxville for over 15 years
and enjoys taking advantage of the area’s natural beauty
through a variety of outdoor activities.
