Dr. Kate Dittmann is a licensed psychologist specializing in child
and adolescent issues. She completed her doctoral degree in
Counseling Psychology from Andrews University in Michigan.
Kate completed her doctoral internship at the Allendale
Association in Chicago, Illinois. Her work there focused on the
treatment of children and adolescents in a residential treatment
setting and a therapeutic day school.
Kate’s postdoctoral work was completed at Madison Center in
LaPorte, Indiana where she served as Child and Adolescent
Clinical Coordinator for all of LaPorte County.
Dr. Dittmann’s other areas of specialty include ADHD,
psychological testing for all ages (educational and personality),
Bipolar Disorder, Eating Disorders, and Autism Spectrum
Disorders.
Kate understands the hesitation that sometimes occurs when
beginning therapy. Her primary goal when seeing you for the
first time is to make you as comfortable as possible with the
therapeutic process, answer any questions you may have, and
let you know what to expect. She also understands that your
time is very valuable, and she strives to make each session as
meaningful and productive as possible.
Kate and her husband, Corey, reside in Knoxville.
