Lisa clinical interests include anxiety, depression, abuse, and
eating disorders. She also works with relationship and
marital issues and enjoys pre-marital counseling. She has a
special interest in identity and spiritual formation.
She knew early in life that she wanted to work with people
and began her professional life as a teacher. Lisa felt drawn
to a new dimension of helping because of the care and
mentoring she received through a series of personal
challenges. Her work has been significantly influenced by
her life experiences and her role as a parent and wife.
Lisa has a master’s degree in counseling from the University
of Tennessee and joined ECS in 1998. In addition to her
clinical practice, she provides training and education to
individuals in the community who are interested in becoming
more effective in their current areas of service.
She’s been married since 1981 and has two sons who are
students at the University of Tennessee.
