Dr. David Hall’s practice focuses on personal identity, sexual
health, family communication, and physical well-being; along
with other topics. He enjoys working with a wide range of
people including young professionals, teenagers, families,
couples, and college students. In doing therapy, David uses
imagery, metaphor, and story as ways to help people see
their lives and new solutions.

Professionally, Dr. David holds dual licenses in Tennessee
as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) and as a
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Mental Health
Service Provider. He holds clinical memberships with the
American Board of Christian Sex Therapists and the
American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
David is also an active trainer and seminar speaker in both
the US and in Europe and has been featured in several
conferences and video series. He is currently co-directing
international training for the Institute for Sexual Wholeness.

Originally from Knoxville, David received his B.A. in History
from Middle Tennessee State University, his M.A. in Marriage
and Family Therapy (MAMFT) from Richmont Graduate
University, and his Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) from
California Southern University. David and his wife, Brandy,
joined the therapy staff of Ebenezer Counseling in 2008. On
a personal note, David enjoys the mountains, old movies,
good books, conversations about anything and sometimes
just being lazy with his wife, family, and friends. David is also
a novelist and songwriter who loves to see how art and story
reflect how God has designed all of our lives and is guiding
our futures.
