Phyllis Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor available
for individual therapy and marriage counseling.
She provides individual therapy in managing anxiety and
depression, adjusting to life experiences, recovering from
divorce, coping with loss and grief, transitioning through life
stages, managing anger, establishing healthy boundaries,
experiencing appropriate self-esteem, and integrating faith into

She also provides pre-marital counseling assisting couples in
identifying relationship strengths and areas that need

Phyllis received her B.S. in education from Winthrop University in South Carolina and her
M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University in Florida. She relocated to
Knoxville from Orlando, Florida in 1994. She is experienced in, and is available for,
leading marriage retreats and speaking engagements.
