Travis Kobler has lived in Tennessee since 2008. Travis is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling. He received his Bachelor of Science from Newberry College (SC) and worked professionally in the construction industry prior to pursuing a career in the counseling profession.

Travis’s approach to counseling is holistic and relational. He believes that counsel can be found through faith and trust in the Scriptures. Crisis, emotion, and life circumstances can cause us to lose focus and objectivity, just as it can be with faith. It is in these times that we reach out and counsel can be beneficial to heal our overall state of being.

Travis views counseling from a four-prong Biological, Psychological, Social, and Spiritual model. The relationship of faith and religion is another major motivator and source of healing, which over time has been an area that has been pushed aside. This view works much like the four legs of a stool or chair; while functioning can be maintained when one of the legs is missing, crisis rarely affects only one of the four. This leads to an unbalance in our personal wellness, home life, relationships, friendships, spiritual life, and in our work/school.
