Patricia Wade is an intern at Ebenezer Counseling Services and is currently completing her Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University. Her passion is working with women and young adults in a college setting. Patricia has a particular interest in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), and the Enneagram.

Before pursuing her counseling credentials, Patricia worked professionally as director of women’s ministry and international missions at a local church. Today, she is also the executive director of a non-profit organization for women’s ministry. After realizing her need for additional training, Patricia attended Liberty University where she will graduate Summa Cum Laude in August 2019. She previously earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Studies at Liberty University.

As a Christian counselor, Patricia readily acknowledges and values cultural differences and respects all people who come with different backgrounds, experiences, and beliefs. She believes in an integrated approach to thought, emotion, and behavior in order to help people transform the way they live, love, learn and lead. Her desire is to see people thrive in relation to themselves, others, and God.

Patricia and her husband Andy will celebrate 30 years of marriage this year. They have three daughters and two sons-in-law whom they love and cherish. When she isn’t working or studying, Patricia enjoys family, good friends, long walks, reading, sunsets on the lake, great food, and traveling the world.
