Anita has the privilege of working with individuals facing a wide array of challenges including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, career difficulties, women’s issues, and spiritual concerns. She is passionate about supporting individuals aged 18 and older as they navigate how life experiences shape their unique view of the world and their relationships. She respects her clients’ background, culture, and beliefs and takes an integrative approach to counseling through offering faith-based counseling if desired by the client.

Anita considers it an honor to share a space with clients and to bear witness to the experiences that have shaped their lives. She utilizes a holistic, trauma-informed approach that considers social, physical, emotional and spiritual components of an individual.  Anita prioritizes attuning to the client and cultivating a safe therapeutic relationship as the client moves towards healing. She also hopes to help clients cultivate more meaningful, gentle ways of relating to their faith, self, and others.

Anita worked in the business world for several years before pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University to become a therapist. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, trying new recipes, venturing to a local coffee shop, and being outdoors.
