"Hi, I’m Kathryn - a counselor who’s passionate about helping women and teen girls (13 and up) feel seen, supported, and a little less alone in whatever they’re facing. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Johnson University and am currently under clinical supervision as I work toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
My heart is to help people navigate hard things — whether it’s the impact of trauma or abuse, anxiety, relationship struggles, questions around faith and spirituality, or just the stress of life transitions. You're not meant to go through those things alone. I’ve had the chance to live overseas, which helped shape how I see the world and deepened my ability to connect with people from different backgrounds. I also speak conversational Spanish.
I'm trained in EMDR and often incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and other trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches. (Don’t worry — you don’t need to know what those mean before we meet. I’ve got you.)
More than anything, I want you to feel safe, seen, and supported when you’re with me. My hope is to create a space where you can come just as you are — and feel empowered to grow into who you’re becoming. If you’re ready to explore the next steps in your healing or personal growth, I’d be honored to walk with you."
