Laura is currently pursuing a graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. She has spent the past four years in vocational ministry with teen girls. She believes that healing happens in relationships and desires for every person to have a place where they can feel known, seen, and heard. She desires for each individual to feel valued and deeply cherished. She has a special interest in working with children, adolescents, and young adult women. No matter what age, Laura believes that everyone should have someone with whom to navigate the inevitable ups and downs of life. Some areas of focus include anxiety, depression, family dynamics, stress, emotional regulation, spiritual concerns, and relational conflict. Her therapeutic approach leans heavily on person-centered therapy as well as internal family systems, although she is always looking to expand her therapeutic knowledge. All her counseling is through the lens of Christ’s saving work on the cross.

Laura has been married to her husband for four years, and they just welcomed a little girl into their family. When not in the office, you can find Laura playing with her daughter, going on walks with friends, or watching her husband coach high school football. She loves to be with her family, work in her garden, and eat good food.
