Katy Oliver is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker in supervision working towards licensure as a LCSW. Katy’s specializes in working with women in all stages of life with a focus on anxiety, depression, body image, relationships, spirituality, life transitions, and career exploration.

In her undergraduate studies at Duke University, Katy sensed a calling towards a helping profession. She has always loved hearing people’s stories and helping them process struggles they may be experiencing. Her desire to empower others led her to The University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she obtained her Masters of Social Work. She has been at Ebenezer since 2016. She integrates various counseling theories which allows her to tailor each session to the client’s individual needs.

Through her own experience in counseling and in counseling others, Katy believes every difficulty provides an opportunity for growth and restoration. She loves walking alongside people in their struggles and helping them move towards freedom so they can love themselves and others well. Believing that authenticity and awareness are the keys to change, she seeks to provide a safe space for people to be real and take off their masks.

She and her husband Casey love trying new restaurants and cheering on the Vols. She spends lots of time on the playground and going on walks with her two young boys. Katy would be honored to be part of your story.
