Lisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor who joined ECS in 1998.  She’s spent decades as a counselor, wife, and mother.  Her work incorporates lessons learned and lived through her life experiences. She believes counseling is a natural process that encourages critical thinking, increases coping skills, and promotes integration of faith.

She has a graduate degree from the University of Tennessee and an undergraduate degree in business.  Her primary clinical approach is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The early years of her career were spent as a teacher and administrator.

She’s married and the grateful mother of 3 children.  In the last decade, she experienced the loss of one of her children and a renewed purpose as she adopted a daughter from China. She’s grateful to walk with others as they write a story of hope and redemption.
