Hillary Little is a counselor in supervision working towards licensure. She graduated from Grace College in Winona Lake, IN with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before pursuing a career in counseling, she worked in college ministry where her desire to become a counselor was first sparked.

Tim Keller said,  “To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything.” Some of our greatest hurts in life spark when we do not experience the love and acceptance we desire in our closest relationships. Hillary is passionate about seeing hurting marriages and families reconciled and restored. She loves to provide a space for individual, couples, and families to be vulnerable and feel known.

Hillary understands we live in a world where sexual brokenness is all around us in the form of confusion, insecurities, unfaithfulness, addiction, abuse, and more. It may feel uncomfortable or shameful for anyone, especially women, to broach conversation about these issues, but Hillary welcomes these topics and seeks to help clients feel comfortable when discussing all areas of life.

Hillary believes it is a privilege to be invited in to the story God is writing in your life. She has a special interest in attachment science and works to get to know the client’s story and the important characters in his or her life with hopes of moving towards healing and relational wholeness. Hillary believes that our emotions are one of the ways we are made in the image of God, and at times we need helping sorting through our difficult emotions. There is hope for hurting people and the deepest of hurts can be redeemed and restored…  Hillary believes it would be an honor to walk through this process with you.

Hillary was born and raised in Knoxville, but moved away for a few years after her undergraduate studies. She and her husband, Randy, now live in Knoxville with their two children. She enjoys spending quality time with friends and parenting her toddlers!
